Why WE Do it
Giving Back
while We believe that Each day is a time for new beginnings, so an idea for sourcing handmade products for cooking using soapstone material sparked during the spring of 2015. And with the idea came a desire to learn all about the creation process.
We searched for every resource we could find through the internet, and finally with the help of a forum and acquaintances around the world we reached out to artisans in Brazil who are engaged in the making of handmade Brazilian pots for generations.
We shared our idea with friends, explaining our vision of a beautiful pot to cook in that stood for the very concepts of “healthy cookware for cooking”: traditional, modern, and affordable. An ideal gift that inspires the culinary cook to cook in a pot to sizzle in the kitchen while the rustic pans aroma weaves tales of cultural depth and brings people together—and gives back to artisans to withhold their dying craft skills doing good works. A gift that creates a ripple effect of beauty and good health.
